Feature 10 // On-device generation

Image Generation

Type /image and a prompt. Celestos generates the image on your machine — no cloud service, no subscription, no separate app. The result appears inline in the conversation.

Use cases // What people ask for

Real requests, run end to end.

/image a minimal logo for a wellness brand, dark background, white ink
/image product shot of a matte black water bottle on white marble
/image cyberpunk city street at night, neon rain, moody atmosphere
/image UI mockup for a dashboard app, dark mode, flat design
/image portrait of a fox in a suit reading a newspaper, watercolour style
/image thumbnail for a YouTube video about AI, dramatic lighting, bold text space
What you'll see
Type /image followed by a prompt in Chat or Orb — no separate app to open
Generation progress shown inline — the image streams into the conversation
Result appears as a full-size preview card directly in the chat thread
One-click save to your output folder or drag directly into another app
Iterate inline — describe a change and Celestos regenerates from the same context
No watermarks. No usage limits. No API cost. Runs fully on your machine.
Privacy // Why local matters for images

Your prompts never leave your machine.

No cloud
Generation runs locally using your GPU or CPU. No request leaves the machine.
No account
Nothing to sign up for. No API key. No subscription tier. Works from first launch.
No limits
Generate as many images as you want. No daily cap, no rate limit, no overage charge.
No watermarks
Every image is clean output. Yours to use, publish, or iterate on however you need.
Integration // Lives inside your workflow

Ask for an image in the middle of anything.

Image generation isn't a separate mode. It's available anywhere you can type — mid-conversation, mid-research, mid-Hive run. Ask for a thumbnail while writing your video script. Generate a logo concept while building your Studio landing page. The output lands where you are.

> Write a blog post about sustainable packaging trends, then /image a hero banner for it — earthy tones, minimal, editorial feel ✓ Blog post generated (1,240 words) ✓ Generating hero banner image... ✓ Image ready — saved to /output/2026-07-10/hero-banner.png
Tips // Getting the most out of it

Field notes from real use.

Style language

The more specific the style, the sharper the result. "watercolour", "flat vector", "photorealistic studio shot", "cinematic still" all pull different engines inside the model.

Lighting matters

Add a lighting note: "soft morning light", "dramatic rim lighting", "overcast flat light". It's the fastest single-word upgrade to image quality.

Combine with Studio

Generate hero images, icons, and backgrounds inside a Studio session. The images land in the project folder and Studio can reference them directly in the code.

Use Chat for iteration

"Make it darker", "add more contrast", "shift the colour to teal" — Chat holds the full generation context so each iteration builds on the last rather than starting from scratch.

> /image a minimal geometric logo for a tech startup called Nova, dark navy background, white and electric blue, clean sans-serif wordmark below

Paste this straight into Chat or Orb once Celestos is running — no setup beyond install.
