How it works // Three steps

Your machine is the server. Your phone is the window.

The tunnel creates a secure, encrypted connection between your phone and your local Celestos instance. Everything stays on-device — the AI runs at home, you just reach it from wherever you are.

Launch Celestos on your computer
Open the app on Mac, Windows, or Linux as normal. The tunnel starts automatically alongside the local server.

Scan the QR code
A QR code appears in the Celestos sidebar or Settings › Mobile. Scan it once with your phone camera — no app install needed on mobile.

Use Celestos from anywhere
A mobile-optimised interface opens in your browser. Chat, Orb, Memory, Sparks — all your surfaces, all your context, on your phone. Works on Wi-Fi or mobile data.
Privacy model
Your computer is the AI. The model runs at home, not in a data centre.
Encrypted tunnel only. The connection is end-to-end encrypted — nothing is stored in transit.
No third-party routing. Your requests don't pass through any Celestos server or relay.
Close the app, close the tunnel. When Celestos isn't running, the tunnel doesn't exist.

Keep the desktop awake

The AI runs on your computer, so keep it powered and unlocked if you want mobile access available all day. Screen can be off; the server keeps running.

Voice is fastest on mobile

Tap the microphone and speak your request. Celestos transcribes and responds. Faster than typing on a small screen, especially for longer questions.

Set mood on your phone

Change your Mood Engine glyph from your phone and the Orb on your desktop updates its tone in real time. Useful for switching Celestos into Focused mode before you sit down to work.

Brain-dump into Memory

Thought of something on your commute? Open Celestos on your phone and drop a voice note straight into your active project memory. It's indexed and searchable by the time you're back at your desk.
